Class 28 - Health & Human Services Day
The 2018 LEADERship Health and Human Services Day planning committee coordinated a great day by conducting tours and presentation by the local Health Services and Non Profits. CLASS 28 – HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES DAY
LEADERship Class 28 spent the day touring the Health and Human Services Facilities in Martin County. They participated in the Treasure Coast Food Bank Backpack Program by packing packs for local school students.

Class 28 enjoyed LEADERship Government Day with Stuart News Editorial Board representatives Rich Campbell and Eve Samples. This year’s class winner was Ramona Thomas (who also received the endorsement from the Stuart News.)

The LEADERship Government Day committee coordinated a great day encompassing county and city administration, constitutional office, the election process and much more. A special thank you to LC Campbell, T.C. Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory who volunteers his time and talent as our LEADERship photographer. Congratulations to Class 28. The Great 28 was the name they chose after sharing a day of challenges, accomplishments, laughter and good memories during their COPES Day. Thanks to Alec Connolly and his crew at Gulfstream Council, Boy Scouts of America for their coordination and expertise of the program.

LEADERship Class 28 spent most of their day back in school. They visited an Elementary, Middle School, High School, and heard from our higher education and Martin County School Administrators on Education Day.

A special Thank You to LEADERship Alumni and the Environment Day Planning committee: Jessica Allman, Doreen Barnes, Kim Kanter Elliott, Reed Hartman, Rick Hartman and Tim Kinane; and to Economic Day Planning Committee: Cheree Ramirez, Charlene Foster, Leslie Judd, Peter Kemp, Lisa Satur and George Stokus. This year Environment Day and Economic Day went back to back due Hurricane Irma rescheduling.

LEADERship Class 28 kicked off the year by experiencing a day out doors and a day visiting many Martin County businesses. It was two days of stepping out of their daily lives and into someone else's.
