History & Culture Day
Leaders welcomed by Maritime Museum at their new location in Indian Riverside Park. They learned all about the history of the Marine Industry and what an important role boating has played in our area.

Ropes Day
Climbing the "WALL" at the Lawnwood Pavilion is class member Lisa Dames who did successfully get to the top. Lawnwood Regional Medical Center has hosted the LEADERship Martin County Program for our leaders to attend and experience this excellent ROPES Course for many years and we are very fortunate to have this opportunity. Class 21 selected their name that day which is "Forever 21".

History & Culture Day

History & Culture Day
LEADERship Class 21 toured the Elliott Museum on History/Culture Day along with the House of Refuge, Florida Oceanographic and the Maritime Museum.

LEADERship Government Day
Class 21 member Crystal Stiles on her soap box campaigning for 2011 LEADERship Commissioner. At Government Day class members met with the government leaders to learn how they operate and had some Q & A time with them. Five of their class members ran for office and were required to complete all necessary forms and find out just what it takes to be a candidate. They were John Hennessee, Leo Giangrande, Carl Newton, David Sarno and Crystal Stiles. The winner was Crystal Stiles. Alumni coordinators for the day were Taryn Kryzda, Nicki van Vonno, Bonnie Landry and Melissa Corbett. Thanks to all the elected officials and county administration for giving the class the nuts and bolts of government.

LEADERship Economic Day
Shaun Plymale, (class 15) with Chapman & Plymale and Leslie Haviland-Smith, class 21 member with Keiser University visit with John Tranter (class 3), President of Gulfstream Bank and Joe Catrambone (class 6) President of Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce. John and Joe participated on the panel for the Economic Day session of the LEADERship Martin County program. Our alumni coordinators were Plymale; Peter Kemp (class 13), owner of Huston's Office Supplies & Commercial Interiors; Tammy Simoneau (class 15), CEO of Economic Council of M.C.; Sue Hedgepeth (class 20), Stuart/Martin County Chamber; Rick Hartman (class 15), owner of Hartman Real Estate; Carla Brown Lucas (class 19), Compass Marketing Communications LLC; and George Haley (class 14), Senior Vice President of Gulfstream Bank.

Criminal Justice Day
Sheriff' officers are preparing Class 21 leaders to travel by van to the county jail during the program's Criminal Justice Day. Thanks to our law enforcement and judicial system for giving the class a behind the scenes view of their operations.
