develop a vision for your business and goals

How to Keep Your Vision for Your Business Alive

What was your vision for your business before the coronavirus? The stay at home order may have changed the way you currently operate your business, but that change is temporary. It’s possible for your business to bounce back if you start focusing on the dreams you have for the future of your business.

Write Down Your Business Goals

When was the last time you thought about the goals you have for your business? Now is the ideal time to revisit them. Take an hour this week to write them down in a journal that you use every day. Pick at least 5 short term goals and 5 long term goals. Remember, a goal is a dream with a deadline. So, whatever your goals are, give yourself a reasonable timeframe to accomplish them.

Create a Vision Board for Your Business

Now that you know what your business goals are, take it a step further and create a vision board for them. Do you want a new office space? Maybe you want your business to have a consistent number of customers. Whatever your goals may be, make a vision board that shows what you want for your business. Once you're done, hang it up somewhere you will see every day.

Have a Talk with Your Business Mentor

Do you have a business mentor? If you do, then now is a great time for the two of you to have a chat. It’s more than likely that they have faced challenging times in their business and that they can give you the guidance that you need to help your business succeed. Whether you talk on the phone or meet face to face is up to you. Just be open with them. That’s the best way for them to provide the help that you need.
