2019 Welcome Guide: Hot Off The Press!

The 2019 Welcome Guides Are Now Available!

The Stuart/Martin County Chamber’s annual Welcome Guide & Business Directory has been the area’s premier resource guide for newcomers, visitors and businesses for more than half a century. Formerly known as the Resort & Business Guide, and prior to that, the Fishing Guide, the Welcome Guide has evolved throughout the years, providing vital information about Martin County.

What’s included in the Welcome Guide?

The Welcome Guide offers a wide variety of information including real estate, recreation, houses of worship, education, healthcare, dining and nightlife, culture, business, demographic statistics and more. You can also use the guide as a business resource, featuring a list of more than 1,300 reputable Chamber members.

Who uses the Welcome Guide?

The Welcome Guide is a helpful tool for everyone in Martin County, including potential residents, newcomers, visitors, potential businesses, existing businesses and residents. As a service of the Chamber, the guide is mailed free of charge annually to several hundreds of people who are interested in visiting or moving to Martin County. Chamber members use the guide to do business with each other. Potential homeowners use the guide to identify residency information, such as schools, churches, licenses, taxes, healthcare and more. Visitors will be able to fill their vacation calendars with all of the attractions listed in the guide. Love to golf or fish? You can check out all of the Martin County golf course and the best places to fish. You can even identify that mystery fish you just caught and verify if it’s a legal catch. Hungry? The guide features a comprehensive list of Chamber member restaurants and lounges.

Where is the Welcome Guide available?

Besides the obvious Chamber office, the guide is available at more than 250 locations in Martin County. These locations include hotels, real estate offices, attractions and museums, physician and dentist offices, auto dealerships and repair shops, beauty salons and barber shops, restaurants, retail stores, professional offices, country clubs, retirement communities and many more. The guide is hand-delivered to more than 1,000 Chamber members during Operation Thank You, taking place November 6-9. Thousands of books are also distributed to visitors of the Chamber’s annual Home and Garden Show.
